TokenGem is made by a very small team, so the shutdown plan is written before the first sale. The version you have keeps working forever on your activated devices with no server to call, we give ninety days notice, downloads and key resends stay up for two years, and uninstall always restores your machine.

tokengem uninstall will always restore your machine to exactly how it was. Your settings file is snapshotted before a single byte is changed and restored byte for byte. That is true whether we are here or not."Will this still work in two years" is the right question to ask anyone selling perpetual software, and a promise you cannot verify is not worth much. Every commitment above is true in the code today, not an aspiration: the signature check is local, the uninstall restores from a snapshot and there is a test named for it, and the update window is a field in the signed key that the software reads but never enforces. You may stop paying us; we may stop selling. Neither of those can un-sell what you bought.
TokenGem orchestrates three open-source projects it does not own. If one of them changes its licence or stops, TokenGem stops shipping that component and says so in the changelog; the version pinned on your machine keeps running under the licence it was released with, which travels with every build.
